About Puja
Shri Lakshmi–Narsimha Kripa Puja & Maha Homa is a powerful Vedic worship performed to invoke the combined blessings of Lord Narsimha (the fierce protector form of Vishnu) and Goddess Lakshmi (the giver of prosperity and auspiciousness). This sacred puja is especially recommended for devotees facing repeated obstacles, fear, negativity, sudden losses, or instability in career, business, or family life. Lord Narsimha is worshipped as the remover of evil influences and unseen dangers, while Maa Lakshmi’s grace supports wealth flow, peace, and long-term stability. The puja typically includes sankalp (personal intention), Narsimha stotra and mantra jaap, Lakshmi prayers, and a Maha Homa (fire ritual) with Vedic offerings. The homa is considered highly purifying—burning away mental stress, negative vibrations, and karmic blockages, while energizing the devotee with courage and divine protection. Devotees often experience inner strength, clearer decision-making, improved harmony at home, and relief from persistent delays. It is also performed for success in competitive situations, legal matters, and safeguarding family well-being. With sincere faith, this anushthan becomes a divine shield that supports both spiritual growth and worldly prosperity.
About Temple
Shri Lakshmi-Narasimha Kshetra Ahobilam is one of the most revered Narasimha pilgrimages in India, nestled in the Nallamala Hills (Eastern Ghats) of Andhra Pradesh. It is traditionally known as the sacred region where Lord Vishnu manifested as Narasimha to protect devotee Prahlada and destroy Hiranyakashipu—making Ahobilam a powerful “Raksha–Kripa” (protection and grace) teerth. The temple complex is uniquely spread across two zones: Lower (Diguva) Ahobilam in the plains—home to the more accessible main shrine—and Upper (Eguva) Ahobilam in the forested hills, where devotees visit multiple ancient shrines on hill paths. Ahobilam is especially famed for the Nava Narasimha tradition—nine principal forms of Lord Narasimha worshipped across the kshetra—each representing a distinct aspect of divine protection, courage, and inner transformation. For many pilgrims, Ahobilam is not just a temple visit—it feels like a spiritual trek through nature, devotion, and living legend.
