Rahu Ketu Shanti Puja is a powerful Vedic ritual performed to pacify the malefic effects of Rahu and Ketu—two shadow planets known for causing sudden obstacles, confusion, setbacks, and karmic challenges. This puja includes 2500 chants of the Rahu and Ketu Mool Mantras, conducted by learned Brahmins in a spiritually charged environment. It helps remove Grah Doshas, align planetary energies, and promote clarity, peace, and growth in all aspects of life.
About Temple
Ujjain’s Navagraha Mandir (Triveni) is a sacred shrine dedicated to the nine grahas—Surya, Chandra, Mangal, Budh, Guru, Shukra, Rahu, Ketu and Shani. It is located at Triveni Ghat on the banks of the holy Shipra River, making it an easy add-on to a Mahakal darshan or any Shipra snan yatra. Devotees visit to seek balance in their kundali, relief from grah-dosha, and blessings for peace, health, stability, education, career and family harmony. A special feature of Navagraha worship is offering and praying grah-wise with simple, sattvik items—flowers, grains, til, oil (for Shani), and deep daan—followed by parikrama and sankalp. The temple sees especially large crowds on Amavasya, and even more when Amavasya falls on a Saturday (Shani-Amavasya), when people perform Shani shanti and navagraha aradhana with devotion. The riverside setting feels quiet and grounding: you can sit for a few minutes, chant your chosen beej mantra, and end with a short prayer for dharma and right decisions. If you’re unsure what to offer, local priests guide a simple, non-complicated vidhi. Keep the visit clean and sattvik—avoid intoxication, speak softly, and respect the ghat area. Carry a diya and offer it to Shipra.
