About Puja
Pisach/Preta Badha Shanti and Rahu–Ketu Shanti Havan is a powerful combined Vedic–Tantric remedial ritual performed to neutralize unseen disturbances and balance intense planetary influences. Pisach/Preta Badha Shanti is done for relief from recurring fear, nightmares, sudden negativity, unexplained obstacles, mental restlessness, and ancestral or subtle-energy disturbances that may be felt as “heavy vibrations” in life. Through sankalpa, protective mantras, specific shanti prayogas, and offerings into the sacred fire, the ritual is believed to cleanse the aura, restore inner stability, and create spiritual protection around the individual and family. Alongside this, Rahu–Ketu Shanti Havan is performed to pacify the shadow planets Rahu and Ketu, which are linked with confusion, sudden ups and downs, anxiety, addictions, misunderstandings, delays, and karmic turbulence. The havan includes Rahu–Ketu beej mantras, mool mantras, kavach recitations, and homa dravyas offered with precision. It is commonly recommended during Rahu–Ketu dasha/antardasha, kaal-sarp influences, or when progress feels blocked despite effort. When done with proper vidhi, faith, and discipline, devotees seek protection, clarity, smoother outcomes, and renewed peace in home and mind.
About Temple
Srikalahasti Tirth Kshetra, located in Andhra Pradesh near Tirupati, is one of South India’s most revered pilgrimage destinations and is widely known as the “Kailash of the South.” The town is famous for the ancient Sri Kalahasteeswara Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva in the form of Vayu Lingam, one of the five Pancha Bhoota Lingas representing the element of air. Devotees believe that the presence of the Vayu Lingam is so powerful that a lamp flame near the sanctum can be seen flickering without any visible wind. Srikalahasti is deeply associated with Rahu–Ketu dosha shanti and other spiritual remedies, drawing seekers who come for peace, protection, and relief from planetary afflictions. The temple’s rich Dravidian architecture, towering gopurams, intricate carvings, and sacred corridors create a divine atmosphere for prayer and meditation. Legends of unwavering devotion—such as the stories of the spider (Sri), snake (Kala), and elephant (Hasti)—add to its spiritual charm. Situated on the banks of the Swarnamukhi River, Kalahasti offers a blend of faith, heritage, and inner transformation, making it a powerful tirth for devotees across India.
Benefits of Puja
This shanti helps pacify disturbances believed to arise from preta/pishach influences—such as unexplained fear, restlessness, nightmares, heaviness at home, or repeated obstacles. The havan energy is intended to cleanse the aura, restore mental steadiness, and create a protective spiritual field around the devotee and family members.
Rahu and Ketu are linked with sudden ups-and-downs, confusion, delays, and unpredictable losses. Rahu–Ketu Shanti Havan is performed to calm these shadow planets and reduce their harsh impact. It supports clearer decision-making, stability in outcomes, and smoother progress in plans that were repeatedly getting blocked.
Many devotees choose this anushthan for strong spiritual protection—especially when they feel surrounded by jealousy, negativity, or unseen opposition. The havan is believed to cut energetic cords, neutralize harmful vibrations, and strengthen one’s spiritual shield, bringing a sense of safety, confidence, and calm in daily life
Pisach/Preta Badha is often associated with anxiety, panic-like feelings, disturbing dreams, and mood swings. This shanti aims to soothe the mind and stabilize emotions through mantra energy and sacred fire offerings. Devotees commonly seek it for improved sleep quality, reduced overthinking, and a more positive inner state.
When a home experiences frequent fights, misunderstandings, tension, or a constant sense of unease, shanti havan is done to purify the environment. The ritual is believed to harmonize household energy, reduce negativity, and invite auspiciousness—supporting better relationships, smoother communication, and an overall lighter, peaceful atmosphere.
Rahu–Ketu afflictions and negative influences are traditionally linked with mysterious or recurring issues—especially those not easily diagnosed or repeatedly returning. This havan is sought as a spiritual remedy to remove subtle causes behind persistent problems, strengthen vitality, and support recovery by creating positivity and inner strength.
By reducing Rahu–Ketu turbulence and clearing negative blocks, this ritual is believed to improve focus, reputation, and stability in career or business.
